It begins with a second
It begins with a second glance,
Once dry palms suddenly begin to drip rivers
Lips that were at once just slightly envied now become almost irresistible, not wanted for oneself but just to touch with the lips we already have.
Eyes that had been just eyes now have transformed into a gorgeous and strange wilderness we somehow can no longer live without knowing.
Life goes from pathetically simple to outrageously complicated in just a flash,
Just because of a set of wild forests trapped in her eyes and lips so pink and plump cosmetic surgeons would cry at their natural perfection.
Stories about a lover she says with a happy disdain feel like my heart was thrown into a metal fan fitted with blades so now my heart pieces are scattered across the dingy concrete room.
My fake smile manages to hurt even more than that and my body can't take the pain, my stomach attempts to push out all of its contents to get rid of anything that might possibly be causing this torture.
I keep it down because upchucking wouldn't help me anyways, just grin and try not to show how unbearable this all is.
The worst part being a man twenty years her senior and an entire ocean away is with her and I am not.
She has never seen his face and yet they use their words to cause each other bliss anyways and I cannot even manage to tell her how very much I'd like just to able to kiss her sweet strawberry lips.
Because God gave me breasts and still let me love her.
