It Can Be Anything

Poems can deliver our deepest thoughts

from things we were taught

and obstacles we have fought

Words can paint a picture very vividly

putting a reader in their shoes physically

It can rhyme

with things I make up in my brain

Or

Hit you with a dart

with feelings from my heart

Maybe even one’s dreams they wish upon stars

It’s up to how much you want to write-

because you can achieve without saying it all

Poetry lets one create

without any hate

Down to the day we are no longer awake

It’ll be fine, because our poems will always remain
