It Is Death
Who else but I
Could go on to smile
Looking at the wide
Open sky
Vying for its blueness
And deep echo
Till the light of my eyes
Has dimmed and died;
My fists unclenched
Unable to grip
The fluid air
Fell aside
Is this death
Death it is.
