It Doesn't Always Have to Rhyme

I was used to Dr. Seuss poetry. Rhyming the cat with the hat holding a bat. But as I got older and my life became this huge mess spiraling out of control I realized that I wasn't in charge anymore. Like a poem. When you're writing a poem and it rhymes you're in charge of that poem. But I realized poetry doesn't always have to Rhyme. When I learned that I realized my life was a poem and sometimes it's not going to rhyme but that's what makes it so powerful.
