It Goes Like This...


You see my life goes like this, 

I’d be lying if I said I was okay.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t care.

I’d be lying if I said he made me happier.

I’d be lying if I said I had no regrets.

I’d be lying if I smiled.

I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t hurt.

I’d be lying if I said I got eight hours of sleep last night.

I’d be lying if I said this was a perfect life.

This world is a lie, and I would be lying if I

wished others didn’t see reality.

The only thing I can't lie about

is the fact that this poem

is very much the truth.
