It is hard to say

It is hard to say who I am when I am still finding myself

I'm a teenage girl trying to find out who I want to be in this world

There is so much that I don't know. Things I've never been exposed to

Just like most teenagers in this world I am very confused

Every step i make feels like a step in the wrong direction

It's hard to get to know myself

My real self

not the self that society has created for me

I am indecisive

One minute I want to be a lawyer or an actress the other minute a doctor

Everything others told me I couldn't do....Have I become a product of their rules

Maybe I've slipped into fear and the real me has died

My confidence has shattered along with everything inside

Have I've become a product of what others think of me

The real me is locked away without a key

When does this stop? When can I find out who I really am?

Because right now......I don't know who I AM.
