It is harder to breatheI'

It is harder to breathe

I'm losing sight of who I am

I'm losing myself to the confusion

something that controls the screen

I'm falling harder than I can walk

I'm tilting waves of green

The world is pouring yellow in the drain

my hair is being pulled back

my eyes are turning grey

I'm wanting to hide

I'm falling harder than I can catch myself.

You're lost in the sea of people

You are out of reach and I'm searching through water

I can't grasp you

you only slip away.

I'm wanting to hide from the sand that sifts around me

I want to find an island of trees

I want to find my waterfall

I want to find myself

I want you to walk up and in

I want you to smile

tell me you are in love with me

only if you know you do

but here I am sinking instead of floating

something is going to happen isn't it.

I'm going to go home for some reason

I'm going to drown in a pool of liquid thoughts
