It is I
Glory To the knowledge receivers of the educational prison.
It is I, Angel Belonwu, the slayer of all things irrelevant.
The daughter of Mary and Charles Belonwu.
I have a message for you all.
Hear me speak in vain.
I come from a legacy of trendsetters.
Originating from Nigeria, || the land of green and white.
My grandparents have lived a somewhat great life but are no longer living.
I am certain my ancestors lived a difficult life experiencing corruption.
I have made an important vow to myself.
I shall overcome stereotypes and conquer all negativity.
Based on what possessed people of pure evil think.
Land of the free seems to judge upon us with stereotypes based on our physical appearance and culture.
Some may assume people like me are uneducated human beings.
I am a hardworker.
In some circumstances it does not matter how hard I work because that’s not what they’ll see first.
Women of my race are viewed as violent, angry, or aggressive || just to name a few.
All of that because of misrepresentation on the television.
Shows like Love and Hip Hop and Basketball Wives are great examples.
I possess skills in being honest, intelligent, and strong.
I may be loud at times, but my existence does not represent the whole population.
All African Americans don't appear alike || varying in shades and ethnicities.
Thou civilians of this educational prison might think otherwise.
Regarding the fact I’ve been called other names by demanding education instructors.
It is now time for a change.
My intention of accomplishing this deed will be simple compared to my previous one.
I shall try to use all my strength to spread my message to every citizen.
Thou shalt not judge a book by its cover.
If I am declared victory, || Lord grant us peace.
But if I lose there is work to be done.
