It isn’t that bad...

"It isn't that bad..."

Sure it wasn't.

"You're beating yourself up"

I know I am.

"Stop letting them bother you"

I never thought of that, thanks for the amazing advice.

"They don't mean it"

Yes they do.

They mean it wholeheartedly.

They want me to feel miserable.

I'm probably overreacting...

"You're stupid"

I'm stupid.

"You're fat"

I'm fat.

"You're ugly"

I'm ugly.

"You're worthless"

I'm worthless.

"You deserve to die"

I deserve to die.

"You're a waste of space"

I'm a wast of space.

Though I have it good compared to other people.

Other people don't have houses.

Other people don't have food.

Other people don't have money for new shoes.

Other people have it worse than I do.

So why should I be sad?

I don't have a reason if I have it better than other people.

If other people have it worse, then I shouldn't be sad.

I don't have a reason to be sad.

Yeah, I've been through things.

I've lost so many friends, some betrayed me, others died.

I've been raped and assaulted many times by people I thought I could trust.

But at the end of the day, I still have a lot of good things.

I have friends.

I have a house.

I have food and water.

I have clothes.

So it isn't that bad.

It isn't that bad because I'm not homeless.

It isn't that bad because I'm not starving.

It isn't that bad because I have a PlayStation.

It isn't that bad because I have clothes on my back and shoes on my feet.

It isn't that bad because other people have it worse.

One of my friends has abusive parents

I was talking to my mom and she said,

"We aren't abusive, what do you have to be sad about?"

She has a point.

I don't have anything to be sad about.

Because other people have it worse
