Is it? It is.

Because I love you, is it my job to drive you home after a night at the bar?

Because I love you, is it my responsibility to put a roof over your head every time you come back?

Because I love you, is it my duty to take those beatings when you need to let your anger out?

No it is not.

Because I love you, I will put you in rehabilitation

Because I love you, I will encourage you to get a real job to support yourself

But most importantly, because I love you, I will leave you

I will make you realize your mistakes

I will make you alter your ways

I will hurt you in ways you have never hurt me

I will change you for the better and you will thank me
