Is it Just Infatuation

So tell me, is it just infatuation

Me making moves, showing dedication

Trying like I have nothing to lose, keeping communication

Thoughts of this person cluttering up like an infestation.

So tell me, if I knew this person for a while

And everytime I see her, she makes me smile

Getting close to her makes me shy like a child

My train of thought crashed, having my mind turn wild.

Hotter than mild, turning up the heat

Is it the personality or physique

She had me thinking for weeks

I've been trying for months

Progressions, not that much

She doesn't feel the same way,

Or is that just a hunch?

So tell me, am I wasting my time for this girl?

Treating her as if she's precious as a pearl.

So tell me, is just infatuation,

Because the more I think about it as I'm in this situation

That I do feel for her and I do have feelings,

With good intentions and deeper meanings

Because her looks got my attention,

And her personality kept me hooked

Everything about her is beautiful her reflection

Reading her expressions like a book

So I am tell you, that it is not infatuation,

Because everything about her keeps me motivated.
