It Mattered Not

Mon, 10/30/2017 - 07:26 -- KinHerb

There was a knife, who stabbed all things,

Be it the heart, mind, or soul,

It mattered not,

For it was a knife, it knows no right or wrong.

There was a man, who stole from the masses,

I am not wrong, for it is for my family,

It mattered not,

For family comes first, not matter what.

There was a community, who massacred another,

We are not wrong, for God is on our side,

It mattered not,

For the will of God is absolute.

There was a country, who ruled others supreme,

We are not wrong, for these men aren’t fit to rule,

It mattered not,

For the power of ruling tis for the deserving.

Which of these are right?

The country, men, or knife?

It matters not,

For actions are guided by emotion,

And the results could be anything.
