It matters

It matters

1 Timothy 1:5

New English Translation

5 But the aim of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.

1 Timothy 1:19

New English Translation

19 To do this you must hold firmly to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck in regard to the faith.

The organ of our faith must be a good conscience

Holiness does not tolerate iniquity and casual sin

If a believer does not purge self to the dictate of his conscience

He acts contrary to God’s Will and will lose fellowship with Him

See the “promised” God as an offering given in the bible

Conditional as such or at least really so to be considered

None of Him is bestowed to gratify the flesh and its desires

How can we claim that with boldness if our conscience is ignored?

Being accused from within and not to accept this judgment

Is like ignoring storm warnings, while in a boat on the way

It may be sunny now, but in time to come it will surely matter

That warnings by itself don’t mean anything on that final day
