Is It Me?

Is it me or does everyone else feel the same pain that I feel?

Is it me or does everyone fill their pillows up at night with tears?

I think it’s me, because with all that I’ve been through, I no longer even have fears

I think it’s me, let me ask my dad, wait I forgot, he’s been gone for years

I pick my head up, walk with my chest out, put a smile on, but trust me, it’s all fake

Am I lying to myself when I say it’ll be all good one day?

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but not everyone can relate

Back against the wall, which direction will I take?

People look me in my eyes and know what I have the potential to become

Is it me? I don’t know we’ll see when it’s all said and done
