It is me

Matthew 9:13

13 Go and learn what this saying means: ‘I want mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

It’s me

Shortcomings I see in others – seem to be all my own

I should take time to think and expose it to my long-gone

All the flaws of others make me their existing clone

As through my own reason, I’m sinking to the bottom

“Disobedience in children” fits me like a glove

Proclaiming for attention my daily underwear

Preaching to the choir sprinkles with some love

It seems to be more for self in my empty stratosphere

Stages in my life, I discover every day

As I’m observing others on their trail

What in thought, I criticize in every way

Are my flaws in others appearing rather pale?

Giving advice should be directed mostly at self

Dropping off hints make my load a little heavy

Bogging down in a swamp that I’m creating very well

By my loosed lipped attitude makes sin appear so savvy
