It Might Mean Something to Someone out There

I’ve always been one

To think and not speak.

To analyze and not share.

To feel strong and not show it.

I’ve always had a hankering for being different.

For acting, appearing, and talking the same.

But for really, truly being different.

And I’ve been aware that my words have value.

And I’ve learned that I need to use them.

But I don’t want to speak

And I don’t want to share

And I don’t want to show it

Unless it’s in writing.

Because then,

it might mean something to someone out there.
