It Must Be Love

Higher than the mountains, deeper than the seas...

Love is indeed is a mystery.

It is essential, yet invisible to the eyes.

It does not play games, it utters no lies.

Love is a riddle that remains unsolved-

A case that you and I can’t resolve.

It swirls like a wind that comes and goes…

To where it is heading, no one knows.

It enters your body and possesses your soul,

Before you know it, you’re craving for more.

It trudges on random and risky paths,

So make a wise choice if you must.

Think not of the end for it is unknown,

Trust that love will never leave you alone.

As old as time it continues to unfold,

Its beauty is indeed a sight to behold.

Hey there! 🌟 High school me turned to writing short stories and poems for kicks, and it's been a love affair ever since. At present, I'm a special education teacher, guiding an amazing bunch of diverse kiddos. I channel my romantic soul into my poetry, often inspired by people close to me or just good old self-reflection. Love is my muse, I guess. I'd love for you to dive into my world of words and can't wait to experience your poetry too! Let's connect and get inspired together! 😊 Yey!
