Is it my time
Will this be the rhyme
As my mind is in wonder
Fragments from the night ponder
Readying for the light
Guiding me as I give up my fight
Not interested in further battle
Awakening my inner life’s rattle
Will never be at peace
Till I learn to fully release
Letting go of anger and fear
Bidding that farewell to be clear
The new act about to start
Simply waiting to receive my part
Being handed today’s page
As the dawn shines on the stage
