It is My World

I stand back looking, seeking, imagining

The sky is blue, the road is black, the dirt is brown

Interesting isn't it how we are always told to be different and to stand out, but the world remains the same

The sky can be pink, and the road can be yellow, the dirt i hold now in my hand is red

It is a world I make on my own the pain and suffering is mines to hold

Taxes? What is that

Bills? These words are so foreign

The world i live in is where people adore in life, show in life, hold on to life

The corners no longer are crowded with people of low budgets

But of people with love painting the walls in everything above it

It is my world that I live in .....

It is fictional to some, but makes perfect sense to me

I am awoken with a nightmare, I can't stand to be in when i live in reality this world is scary the feeling

I will never pour my childs head with this fantasy of life

Of beautiful worlds, white fences, a husband and wife

Because our world is so different and change with time

But not mine, It is my World and it is my time to shine.
