It Never Whispers Clear

A call is heard in the air
But sounds unique to each one’s mind.
The force that carries heroes
To journeys far and near.

“But fate’s not real, it’s a fairytale!
It has no hold on me.”
Refuse it, fight it, shut it out
It will still stand true.

You feel it, don’t you?
Something tugs at heart and soul.
Unexplainable, untouchable, unfathomable
Power deep embedded in the mystery of time

It guides us with its knowing hand
To destiny aligned,
Like fables cherished of old
Of awaiting fate and glory.

Hard to hear and understand,
The stars do tell stories,
So listen close and see,
The universe is whispering but it never whispers clear
