It Is Not I Love You But It Is Close

I am in love with you even if I can’t say

I don’t mean to push you away

It just happens when you are afraid to fall

I may not be able say the words at all

This will be the day

So listen to what I have to say

I never met anyone who could be imperfectly so perfect

From the way your hair flows to one side

To the way you speak quickly when you get excited

How your eyes shine bright as the stars

As if you stole the stars from the dark sky

When you smile it makes me feel dizzy

How can some have such a beautiful smile

Your eyes I could get lost in for years

They drawl me in and trap me

So when I close my eyes all I can see your light bluish grayish eyes

You make my heart beat faster every time you mention my name

My name only sound right when it rolls of your tongue

Somehow around you I lost control of myself from my heart to mind

I might not be able to say I Love You but when I hug you and ask you to hold me

Know that is what I am feeling

When I shiver know that I am not cold it is the way my body reacts to the tingles from your touch

My body reacts if you are meant for me and I was meant for you

I have seen things that have blocked me off

Yet one by one you tear down the walls that have kept my heart captive

And you took it over and made it only beat for you

I know this is not I love you but know it is what I am trying to say
