Is it possible...?

Is it possible to stop loving someone

when you know your feelings are true?

Is it possible for me to love again

when my heart still beats for you?

Is it possible to promise never

to a person you love through the pain?

Is it possible to remember every rainbow,

but forget every drop of rain?

Is it possible to get on with life

when you're fighting with yourself?

Is it possible to move on

with the past still framed on your shelf?

Is it possible to still find peace

when your heart and your mind are at war?

Is it possible to forgive and forget,

so that you suffer no more?

Is it possible to never run back,

when you were always my crutch?

Is it possible to find someone else

who won't try to force too much?

Is it possible to meet that one

who'll make me regret knowing you?

Is it possible to meet that one

who'll love me more than I loved you?

Is it possible for me to say

that the love I felt was a lie?

Is it possible for me to hate you

because on one thing, you had your eye?

Is it possible for me to move on?

Is it possible to love another after you?

Is it possible that I will get hurt?

Is it possible that I'll take you back?

No. Yes. Yes. No. No. No. No. Yes. Yes. Yes. No. Yes. No. No.

YES!

YES!

YES!

NO.

I got into poetry my freshman year of high school. I absolutely fell in love with it. It is my drug, my addiction that I cannot shake. I love visiting Renaissance Faires, theme parks, swimming, hiking, singing, writing, and reading. I love the movie "PS, I Love You." I am a hopeless romantic, but I have not always had the best luck in relationships. A lot of my poetry comes from my heart and mind, and holds special meaning, maybe even a few tears. But some other poetry of mine is simply random and weird and goofy. Just me being me. My nose gets cold easily, and my room is always a mess. I collect stuffed animals (don't laugh) and rocks (that I named for a time when I was younger). I also know how to play Snaps. Yeah. I also have a pet fish (Danny), two turtles (Todd and Talulah), two cats (Timon and Angel), two goats (Hearts and S.J.), and five dogs (Sheila, Shakespeare, Rusty, Duke, and Rebel). Yup. We're a farm. Not literally, but a lot of pets. I have a guitar, but I can't play yet. I need lessons. I shall learn though. Oh, and I have written way more poems than I have actually published on here. I have over a hundred. So what you see is only a peek. Hope you like my poetry.
