it rained stars
Am I wrong to wish to be saved
Am I wrong to long for an escape
Am I wrong to wonder about what I can have
Am I wrong to wait
Is there something sickly evil in me to sit for a hero
When I see my reflection all I see is a lie
A distressed story that can simply be erased
Is it selfish of me to claim this tale is my own
Was I too close to a falling sky
Wished a tragedy to befall, forgive me im just a girl long forgotten
Ignorance seeping into the veins of who believed
Right below a falling sky, I carried the world
Maybe nobody heard the stars tremble, or perhaps they were left to crash just to peirce me
You and I will rush the night
Similarity in the lie that I told
Twisted pinkies and shared vows,
Little did you know that it was the hilt that struck my skin, never the blade
Something wrong with this poem?
