Is it really love?

It seems like hate, more so than love.

Everything feels so abandoned, so lonesome and unloved.

The things I've seen:

The horror, the heartache, the pain of that Man

The things I've heard:

The screams, the cries, the tears streaming down their eyes.

All in the name of what? Of love?

What kind of love is this?

He is poor, though He says He is rich.

He is small, but He says He is mighty.

He is hated, but still, somehow He loves.

Who is this man suffering in the name of love?

Love binds up and doesn't tear down, yet here He is being torn apart.

What kind of man is this?

He must be some hero, but I don't even know His name.

What kind of hero looks at those He doesn't know and says,

"Because I love you, I die"?

It must  r e a l l y  be love.
