Is it really worth it?

Money makes life easier, making it seem brighter Having it means you are wealthier, you are happier Sorrows disappear, sadness turns to laughter Sweeter than honey, addictive like beer Getting it is hard, spending it much easier It makes the world spin, probably a little faster It takes away poverty, it means you are richer Money earns you respect, because of it many are canny It buys you beauty, all you need is plastic surgery You need anything, it gives you no need to worry Men lack sleep, it’s become a major necessity Lives are lost for it, many are made greedy Money makes us toil, at the end of the day we are weary Money results to crime, and no one seems sorry Is money really the answer? Should it make it make me your enemy? Should lives be lost for money’s sake? Should loved ones have to cry? Should it hide who we really are? Does it enhance inner beauty? Why do we let it deter our peace? Why should multitudes suffer? Why should families break? Aren’t I your brother? What has money done? Why should I become a killer? Money is just an allure to happiness, but is it really worth it?
