It seem to be obvious

It seem to be obvious that you were here,

among these ocean waves where brave men fear.

Where tempest blows like a ragging battle,

and great dark clouds make hurry a paddle.

I knew for a fact that your presence was displayed,

amidst the furry of the volcanoe in rage;

its thunderous sound and tremendous heat,

coming from within earth's shadowy deep.

Not for a moment did I doubt to see your face,

twinkling in the night sky filled with such grace.

From the splendor of the sun's radiance,

and the moon's elegant dance across heaven;

my eyes beheld the glory of your power

and my heart filled with the beauty of my maker.

But there as I stood, in the quiteness of my room,

and in the stillness of it all;

to my suprise I heard you the clearest,

in your Word where you speak in a gentle whisper.

Yes, now I know your voice at its loudest:

pages filled with a holy message.

Enveloping me with more fear than a storm,

and empowering me with the Spirit of fire and truth.

For even greater than every star that you call by name,

there is a greater weight to every promise you've made.
