It is so simple

A strange moment as reality alike pangs of hunger surfaces

In times of unimportance, it appears to be the best way

Nothing matters when priorities oft are changing

And in every instance, it provides me the time of day.

Positive reinforcement with negative results

It is the attitude behind that always shows the difference

Habits are good but are not intricate living

If it all ties down with habits as a sad inheritance

Life seems built on tradition, and we continually add to that

A never-ending cycle of man’s direct invention

Humanity won’t learn and provides only explanations

Why it all seems to fail without a clue about prevention
