It Speaks For Me

The words stutter through my lips
I'm sorry my way with words does not
Translate to the patterns of my speech
I wish I could tell you what I think
(For, according to you,
I do not feel
And more than a little according to me lately)
I could show you this poem
But my heart shines out too much
I don't want you to know
So I leave you with my terrible words
And nothing I can ever say through my eyes
I'm sorry
