It Taught Me This...

Not all problems can be solved,

But it can be written

In any way.

Friends, families and beyond, may or may not,

Speak as you make them do

And you'd never know but that's alright,

Speculating will help you forget.

If  words can't describe how amazing,

Poetry can.

Your feelings are beautiful, on paper and in thought

The memories that return,

The memories you can change.

Your feelings appear as poetry,

When emotions speak

If it were to be tangible, if it takes form,

In complex bits or easy pieces

I doubt feelings come readily,

In essay form.

It taught me this,

Poetry, it is and what it does,

Saying without stating

Stating by saying

Stating without saying

Saying by stating

It's intetntions are vast, it makes me think...

Poetry, it is and what it does,

Bringing poets together, wringing the poet out of...

Every single soaked, battered, and inundated cloth

We call ourselves,

The cloth we call ourselves in need.

It says to us,

Write me with your tears.
