it taught me.

to give love to the

contrast of color

when my hand touches

another's hand.

to place sticky notes

all over the pages

that stir the ache inside me

so wonderfully.

that the ache

vibrating my bones

is both arousing and

tranquilizing.

that the torture my mind

plays on my heart is

extraordinary.

that what is false

is true

if only it is good.

it has taught me to pretend.

it has taught me to be good.
