Is It Truly Love?

Is it truly love when you simply make me wait?

Is it love when I'm forced to sit here in this lonely space?

Agony, Regret, and Despair

All these feelings bulit up within one body

Is it enough for me to simply wait for you to decide when you want to walk through these heavenly gates?

Is It truly love?

Do you feel the way I do?

Or do you look at me as your next prey?

Do you hop around from man to man as I sit around idly in wait?

Is it truly love?

Am I the idiot for waiting?

Or does that make me a bigger man for not leaving?

Questions, questions, and more questions..

They all circulate within my head as I sit here like a tree in the forest

I feel lost within a crowd of others

But my "specialness" has yet to make me one of the others

I'm lost within a sea of grey

With no hope of a saving light

Were all my feelings a large pool of wasted emotion?

Is it truly love?
