It was a cold day


The concrete covered with crisp ice, sounding like glass breaking after someone makes a step. As I stepped outside, the air thrusts me in my face as though I had just been placed into a bathtub full of ice and needles. My lips slowly turned purple and blue as I stood there unable to move in a fragile state.
