It Was The Days Of...
“It was the best of times...”
The time of which no one cares.
You be who you want, I’ll be who I want.
The days of Childhood.
The time of which love is strong.
The heart beats because it must, it beats strong when there is love.
The days of Happiness
“It was the worst of times…”
The time of which all that is seen is darkness.
The sun could shine, the smiles could be bright.
But all that is seen around is shadows, sorrow, and nothingness.
The days of Sadness Swallowing the World.
The time of which love is lost.
The loss of a loved one leads to loss of oneself.
The days of Death.
“It was the age of wisdom…”
The time of which learning perfection is not the key.
Perfection is not in the eyes of others but in beholder.
The days of Confidence.
The time of which learning to fight for what you want.
Fight for what you believe.
Fight for what you love.
Fight for the ones that can no longer fight at all.
The days of Striving.
“We had everything before us, we had nothing before us…”
To be the best I need the best.
And you are the best.
So I have everything I need.
The days of Love
