It Was Love

God's love is not a soft sentiment, not a passing word or a fleeting glance. It is love that carries weight, love that walked a road of suffering. It was love that had a crown of thorns struck on his head, 7-inch nails driven through his hands and feet, and a spear pierced to his side. It was love that bore God's wrath that was reserved for you and me. It was love that stood in the place of judgement where I should've been. It was love that went the extra mile and got mocked, flogged, beaten, spit at, and cursed at. This is the truth that his love is deeper than the ocean, love that went that extra mile to save the souls of man, love that had to endure so much agony. Amen! To God be all glory, majesty, and honor!

Just tryna' write poetry that always glorifies God and who He is, what he has done for me, and what He can and will do for you! If God can transform my life, I know without a doubt he can transform yours too! You are NEVER too far gone, or broken for God! Come to Jesus just as you are and give your life to him and watch the change happen when you turn to Jesus and live for Him!! Being a Christian is never easy, just as life isn't easy, but our only hope is in Jesus Christ the one and only!!
