It was Never Mine

When did I decide,

to turn my dreams into a reality?

When did I decide,

to take my first step into that loud,

 angry,

      Real world.

The decision,

Was never mine to begin with.

It was never my plan to venture from that place,

that dark hole, that evil venue.

I never would have left,

had it not been,

for your decision.

You took me,

bleeding and grieving,

from the dark

    To light.

From death

      To life.
