It Was Only Jesus
Romans 8:2-3 ~ "For the law of the spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh."
It was only Jesus who came in the form of a baby when many expected a king or a ruler for the coming Messiah.
Only Jesus, who really came into our lives during the darkest times, on the mountaintops and in the valleys, to bring us into his marvelous light.
Only Jesus, who had a crown of thorns struck on his head, 7-inch nails driven through his hands and feet.
Splintering strips of wood on Jesus' back; a spear struck his side, and out came blood and water.
Only Jesus, who said - "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." (Luke 23:24)
Jesus, who was laid in the grave like no other, but it was only Jesus who rose again 3 days later.
It was only Jesus who said - "Come to me all weary and heavy burden, and I will give you rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
It is only Jesus who gives life to the lifeless and brings light into the darkness.
It was only Jesus who brought light into this dark and broken world.
It was only Jesus the whole time, the only one working in our everyday lives.
