It wasn't you
It wasn't you who made me who I am.
It wasn't you who ever tried to understand.
YOU made the world orbit around your sun.
When I needed YOU, you were nowhere to be found.
Cast away in a dark room I yelled out for YOUR name.
Instead of being helped YOU cast me away.
HE took my place in your heart.
When I bleed YOU nurtured him from the start.
I believed in YOU, I thought YOU would always love ME.
BUT you threw me away when HE came to be.
When YOU whispered the words I Do.
I cried the words I Don't.
When HE took you away I was replaced.
Left for dead without a taste.
I creid out for YOU and got no answer in return.
IM the selfish one but I was left ALONE.
