It Wasn't You

It wasn’t you I didn’t like

I betrayed me

Jaded me and Played me

Carelessly held on to what was left of me

Journeyed to where I wasn’t suppose to be

Recognized the frightful part of me

Externalized evidently doubtless me

Consumed dissipated absorbed and ate up

I clambered to my sanctuary and begged for it to end

But it hasn’t yet, and still, I don’t know when

It was me I didn’t like
