"It is what it is"

The universe bleeds racism of humanity and sexuality.

But for some reason it does not bother me.

It is what it is.

The brown chocolate I call my skin, the redness of my lips, whiteness of my teeth, but not letting opinions become factual concrete.

It is what it is.

How do I define me?

A beautiful, intelligent, young lady who does not keep her thoughts silently.

It is what it is.

I dont want my body characteristics to define who I am.

A strong woman I will become, addressed as "Ma'am".

It is what it is.

You think you may know me, but realistically you do not.

I can change within a second.

An apple that begins to rot.

It is what it is.

The real is what I speak.

Dripping, wet tears at 1 a.m. like an uncontrollable leak.

It is what it is.

I am not an ordinary girl.

Matter of fact, im far from it.

In MY world...I RUN IT!

But yeahh bruhh.....it is what it is.
