It Will Flash By

Everyday I spend on homework

Is a day closer to graduation

But the effort I put in will give me an extra perk

For my college application

All of the seniors to whom I've said goodbye

Are gone, gone with the blink of an eye

And my friends in this year's twelfth grade will be gone soon

Agh, I will become one of them too.

Because this high school life will end;

It will flash by.

My time here is limited

As a high school junior I

Can feel the seconds tick by

Time, why must I let you fly?
