Itchin’ Ways to Go
I spent so much time trying to keep things the same, when everything around me was shifting.
I spent so much effort trying to keep going on, when those around me started quitting.
I spent so much thought trying to keep my life moving forward, when my will was being smitten.
I spent so much energy trying to be myself, when there were those who started bitchin'.
I spent my happiness doing what I believed was best for everyone, when they turned against me for not fittin'.
I spent my free choices fighting against our shared evil, when I was tossed aside like a stray kitten.
I spent my heart and mind focused on one ultimate goal, when I wanted to start hittin'.
I spent my dying breaths of outrageously clear dominant leadership, when those stepped up who meant for sittin'.
I spent my open defiance, when there was a common need to get rid of an itchin'.
I spent my personal laws, when I was forced to follow those unwritten.
I spent my red hot speed, when I was crushed by "no zippin'".
I spent my furious ferocity, when I was ""ASKED"" to cover it up like a mitten.
I spent my nearly unstoppable drive to the finish, when it was stolen from me,
leaving me flinchin'.
I spent my pure fear, when I was left alone, unknown, my time tickin'.
I spent my unrelenting revenge, when it was stolen by a foe who was cravin'.
I spent my youth, when it was sold to one who resembles Satan.
I spent my high hopes, when it was left to disappearing and dissolvin'.
I spent my struggle to survive through it, when it ended as fast as it did startin'.
I spent myself, when I started searching for a way to stop my droppin'.
I spent my "Come with me now!" attitude, when it was challenged with spittin'.
I spent my courage, when I allowed it to stop flowin'.
I spent my dreams, when they started slowin'.
I spent my hiding place against my inner nightmares, when they started growin'.
I spent my willingness to succeed, when I could not start movin'.
I spent my firmness to not concede to what is unjust, when people started towin'.
I spent my riches, when everything I cared for was reduced to nothin'.
I spent my assuredness, when I no longer knew what was my placin'.
I spent countless stress-inducing acts of stupidity, when I was left by myself pacin'.
I spent my memories, when they were destroyed by flushin'.
I spent my joys, when they were no longer able to be summon.
I spent my eagerness to try, when I was burnin'.
I spent my lack of shock, when I was left recoilin'.
I spent my laughter, when people made it hard to start breathin'.
I spent my senses, when they were replaced with things not handled to be substitutin'.
I spent my clear voice, when those around me seemed to lack hearin'.
I spent my stars, when I could no longer touch the sky reachin'.
I spent my helpfulness, when I was seen unfit to be teachin'.
I spent my tears, when I realized that I had indeed been beaten.
I spent my caution, when I learned that there had been a treason.
I spent my trust, when I was pushed down and away for no reason.
I spent my pride, when I was reduced to quiet pleading.
I spent my actions, when I was pushed back when they did it and I was still left behind reading.
I spent my light, when darkness started defeating.
I spent my self-support, when I relied on others like a baby.
I spent my strength, when I lost to an "old" lady.
I spent my teamwork, when there wasn't one to carry.
I spent my faith, when I block not parry.
I spent my ideas, when I was forced to marry.
I spent my personality, when I was crushed to a pulp like a berry.
I spent my belief in magic, when I discovered there was no fairies.
I spent my guilt, when they became Tom and me Jerry.
I spent my ambitions, when I started to feel weary.
(I had more but it was erased when I accidentally left the app without saving it. That's why baby doesn't really rhyme with defeating. I had lines before that. But, I forgot the bridge word between those two words.)
P.S. I mixed two of Groupllove's songs together for the title
