Its all a gift

When I walk in public I get these odd stares

When I speak or laugh those stares are still there.

Its my skin color, the almond shape of my eyes,

the tone of my voice, the curves of my hips.

When they stare I smize.

If I offend you or  turn your stomach the wrong way,

Don't be upset , God created me this way.

Mexican, black, Puerto Rican is my race.

My beauty is a gift I was given.

I am who I am, so regardless I'm still winning!

My personality is humorous along with my great wits.

My intellect and sassyness ,

Its all a gift.
