It's Because Of Love
It is because of love, I did not cut my wrists and pray for death
It is because of love, I would give you my all until my dying breath
It is because of love, I wake up in the morning, thanking God for another day
And it is because of love, no matter what you do I will always stay.
Why is it that you dictate my actions? Why is that I let you? Is it because of love? You
tell me what I have on makes me looks like a whore and that if I wear a crop top I am
trying to get the attention of other guys. Why is it that my curves become your
insecurites? Is it because of love that you tell me those hurtful things or is it because you want to keep me underneath your thumb forever.
It is because of love, I will always accept your apologies even when you called me out of my name just moments before.
It is because of love, I feel obligated to nurse your feelings even when you purposely broke mine.
It is because of love, I am a fragile person but it is also because of love I will persevere on.
