It's Been Too Long Since I Met Myself

It's been a long time since you've cared for everyone else. It's been a long time since you've been away from home. It's been ages since you sat beside yourself. It's been ages since you truly met yourself. You've forgotten who you are. You've forgotten who you once were. The closer you kept moving toward everyone else, the farther you drifted away from yourself. Perhaps that happened because you had never truly known yourself. The winds... The mountains... The roads... The stones... The soil... The flowers... They miss you. Perhaps... you don't. You found neither the people you were chasing, nor yourself. You lost them, and somewhere along the way, you lost yourself too.
