it's been a while

Its been a while since I've  been on stage

the grip of the mic being tight

like I write

the lights gleaming

and teaming, while im dreaming

Hidden by the pain

of polluted pressure

It's demeaning by what

demoted my pleasure

It's been a while since,

I've hosted a boister of voices

Programed by life's choices

Void of joy's lotion

Pain is the premise for influential change

Migraines of granite brains

Darkness from Batman to Bane's

It's been a while since I've witness

The Poetic Pleasure

Of prominent plots

programed by props,

the Haves and Have nots.

It's been a while.
