It's Been A While

Dear friend,

you've been away for a while,

no calls or texts have come

and I miss hearing your voice.

Life is going well but moving quickly;

I look in the mirror and it's as though

ten years have passed.

You used to keep me so young!

The holidays are soon approaching

and I'm growing lonely.
