It's a Bloody Wonderland

Curiouser and curiouser,

I tumbled into the abyss of your mind.

Follow the dancing white rabbit, you said;

but I keep falling behind.

Don't be late,

don't be late -

I breathe deep,

as you puff colorful smoke in my face.

A cracked whisper,

"Who are you?"

Lost within the mist,

an insanity of blue.

A feline smile,

a painted path,

murderous tea parties,

a Hatter's wrath.

You snip your scissors,

you grin your grin.

Blood-stained roses,

you're about to begin.

One last look through the keyhole,

one last glimpse of the garden.

Your breath on my neck,

and one tearful bargain.

"Stay with us, Alice;

we'll make your dreams a Wonderland."

Tear stained cheeks,

as I accept your hand.

My childhood for the key,

and my soul for the dream.

So many voices,

“Help me, help me.”
