Do you remember your days of Christmas time,With spirits high and joy unending? Those are my days of primeWhen I knew Santa was descending. Outside is a cold and chilly night,With snow floating and huddling on the ground. But in the house there is always a warm and toasty light,And Christmas carols filled with sweet and sound. On Christmas Eve, we feast to our heart’s content,And talk with family of stories of joy. Then I would leave and smell the Christmas tree scent,And wonder if I would get a glorious toy. I barely sleep through the night as I ponder.Awaiting the sounds and jingles of bells.I hope the big red man came here to wander,But then I fell into the sleepy spells. I wake up to the ground filled with shining snow,Like Heaven blanketed the Earth with its light.I run down the stairs to see the present-filled show,And behold, I see a sight of presents at a mighty height. My family unwraps their gifts with glowing faces.Kids outside are tumbling in the blanket of white. It is the most exciting time that everyone embraces.Christmas is the day where everything is right.
