It's Complicated

What can I say; it's complicated. Thinking about you while you're thinking about me. Late at night. Losing precious sleep but loving the reason for it. Cautiously loving each other from a far and acting on these feelings. But, hey, it's complicated. Stuck in socially unacceptable bounds where a certain person cannot love another person. Where, if we were to act on our love, we would be prosecuted and shunned because our love is considered a taboo. But, like I said, it's complicated. Not having the freedom to dictate your life. To love. Because love holds no restriction. No rulebook on how to guide itself. It is a powerful and wonderful feeling that everyone has a right to. Many don't know this though or won't accept it. Because like I said, it's complicated Love itself is complicated.
