Its dark
I just want some rest
At this point I can barely breathe
My heart is pounding, it's going to rip out my chest
Anything could come in. I'm surrounded by forest
Something sinister begins to seethe
I just want some rest
Why is it me that sleep will always detest
I just want to feel blithe
My heart is pounding, it's going to rip out my chest
I don't want to welcome a unwelcome guest
I make every attempt possible to writhe
I just want some rest
Let me move, I’m trapped in my nest
I swore I saw a figure, a figure so lithe
My heart is pounding, it's going to rip out my chest
A gasp for air, Im free
I crawl under the covers and enswathe
I just want some rest
My heart is pounding, it's going to rip out my chest
